After we toured the beautiful castle chantilly and the ground we were tired hungry so we decided to eat in the restaurant in the castle chantilly. we were pleasantly surprised with our delicious lunch, very good service, in such a cool historical environment. I usually don't. red meat ate, but I was in the mood for a hamburger, so I ordered. it was probably one of the best hamburgers I've ever eaten. absolutely delicious! my friends order the smoked salmon salad and the fish with scallops that they enjoyed throughout. Of course we had to order a dessert with chantilly cream, so we ordered the cream puff with the chantilly cream that was divine. all in all our culinary experience was absolutely phenomenal! I would recommend the lunch in this restaurant after the tour in the burg.
We showed up without a reservation just as they opened after our walk through the Domaine de Chantilly. At 12 you can get a table without booking after that the place fills up fast. Don’t let the fact that the bistro is inside the Domaine...turn you off. It is not at all a tourist trap. Nothing about it felt cheap or inauthentic. The service and food were all top! The chicken was incredible. Most importantly all desserts come with authentic chantilly cream, this is not to be missed. It is really really worth trying. The price was very reasonable! Enjoy!
