La Casa De María - Réservation de table

It started badly when we arrived a few minutes early for our 8pm reservation. We walked into the restaurant only to be told to wait outside. The waitress joking that the staff were outside smoking. When we were allowed to enter, our host couldn't find our online booking (just like the couple in front of us). Once at our table, there were no menus for food or wine, just QR codes. We are pretty tech savvy, but in a more up market restaurant I want a physical menu to peruse. When I asked for a menu, the waitress said there weren't any. When I asked what someone without a smart phone would be expected to do, she rolled her eyes and produced a menu, but said the prices weren't up to date. No such...

The staff were amazing. The food phenomenal. The view, well we are on the river, it was great. We walked right up and got a table on the water. The sea bass, salad, meatballs, mussels, and brownie were delicious! This was the best service we had since we have arrived in Spain. (5 days ago).
