Our waitress refused to let us order what we wanted from the menu, and continuously told us we were ordering too much food. After only receiving a small amount of appetizers for our table of 5, we had to walk up to the hostess station to almost beg to order entrees. Once ordered, she made a point of letting us know we ordered too much food more than three times, ending in telling us our stomachs must hurt, and we would roll out of the restaurant. We also attempted to buy some wine to take home, but were told we couldn’t. Very confusing and unhappy experience. Managed to ruin a beautiful Sunday in a great location! Will definitely never go back. Now we are back home, and as soon as we walked...
Hacía algún tiempo que no recalábamos por este buen local y aunque observamos una renovación casi completa del personal de la última ocasión, quiero dejar constancia que fuimos muy bien atendidos. Curiosamente, a pesar de ser día de fiesta, nos atendieron muy rápidamente. Todo lo que pedimos estaba muy bueno: Unas papas arrugadas, con un mojo extraordinario, media ración de ensaladilla, y secreto ibérico, con una guarnición de papas y cebolla. De postre, huevos moles con gofio y café. Para beber, dos copas de vino de la tierra, Frontón de Oro . Precio razonable y muy buen servicio. Volveremos con toda seguridad.
Como tener ese nombre y solo ofrecer en copa un vino de pata tinto de medio pelo y un blanco ramplón. Panbao servido frío. Carajacas (dulces! con pasas. Atún pasado de fuego y judiones subidos de sal. Todo bien decorado con papas fritas de bolsa. Irónicamente, la oferta de vermú mejora a la del vino: tienen Domingo. Si son el cuarto puesto de Santa Brígida me empadrono en San Mateo. Solo a mí se me ocurre darles una segunda oportunidad...
I asked for a dry white. it came from a vineyard just down the hill, it was delicious. My partner requested a dry red, also from a local vineyard in San Mateo, dry, full bodied, superb. On discussion with our waiter we chose food to suit the wines and it did. Many Spanish restaurants serve very similar food, but La Casa del Vino, has a much more varied menu. Try something different it really is worth the risk.

La comida estaba exquisita y tenía una excelente preparación. Sin embargo, el servicio dejaba bastante que desear, faltando actuaciones protocolarias propias de semejante restaurante, con buena reputación. Cabe añadir que el nombre hace una merecida referencia a la variedad de la carta de vinos, en la que predominan los de origen nacional. Comida 5/5 Servicio 3/5 Ambiente y aspecto 4/5
Very nice restaurant both outside and inside, has two terraces/garden quite large and a smaller dining room inside, less bad we ate inside because it was to an unbearable heat. The attention of very professional and pleasant staff. the well cooked and very good food. very nice dishes. Quality ratio very good price.Recommendable
great place, for the environment, the views, the attention, and the gastronomy that is very careful the presentation. Canarian dishes that give you a sophisticated touch. great menu of Canarian wines and we must not forget the dessert, which is its specialty.
El lugar es muy agradable pero el restaurante es de comida muy normal y mal servicio. Tardan mucho en servir, se olvidan de algunos platos. No es de recibo lo que pagas y lo que te ofrecen.
