We visited this restaurant about a year ago the food was good but the restaurant itself was very shabby staff were poor. We decided however to give it another chance based on the food. Unfortunately our booking hadn’t gone through as the payment on the card hadn’t worked so instead of a call or e mail they just told us it was cancelled on our arrival! No apology or can we rebook you or would you like to come back later just pure rudeness. 3 girls who greeted us with their backs to us were so rude, unhelpful generally clueless went to get a gentleman who we thought may try to help resolve the matter. Bottomless brunch (1.5 hrs of unlimited drinks , the choice of 3 dishes, cava/sangria or beer for £29.95. One of our party wasn’t drinking and was recommended the main menu as would be cheaper (it didn’t end up being though! . Between the other 4 of us we pretty much had one of every dish on the special menu. Can’t complain about the food, it was delicious the mushroom croquettes were a surprisingly tasty dish along with prawns, calamari and meatballs to name a few!! The only thing I would say is when we arrived from the outside it looked closed, the downstairs was all cordoned off so we sat upstairs however we were the only table in for the majority of the afternoon! We've been here about 7/8 times now over the past couple of years, and also visited with friends. Literally loved it, and raved about it. However, on our last visit, we were very disappointed. It was a Saturday night and empty, so the signs should have been there. We ordered dishes we have ordered before, and loved before, but this time, nothing near as nice. The chorizo (which we usually love) was soggy and tasted poor (usually crispy and good quality), and all the rest of the food seemed a bit cold. Being too polite, we just let it go, much to my regret the next day as I really wish we had complained. We won't be going again!

My wife and I visited for lunch. It amazed me we were the only diners but fully booked in evening. The 3 tapas dishes for £16.95 is excellent value. We chose 3 tapas dishes each .All delicious and so generous we couldnt even finish them all. The gent in charge was an absolute delight..Scott. explained dishes and their style etc with great thoroughness. A great treat even at full price. Wonderful. This restaurant used to be a great little find in the village. It's disappointing that it's not as good as it used to be. The food was too salty and one dish was cold in the middle. Our orders got mixed up with other tables and the overall atmosphere was chaotic. The chef, who was said to be new, was blamed for the issues, but the service was also lacking. Many locals are saying the restaurant is up for sale. I hope that if it stays a tapas bar, new owners can bring it back to its former greatness.

Good service on a busy night.seven of us for early dinner on New Year’s Eve. We had a variety of tapas dishes which were all ok with good vegetable options. Prices are reasonable. Would have rated it higher but for the fact that nothing on the menu was unusual or innovative and none of the standard tapas dishes stood out as better than anywhere else. So good service and good value but room for improvement. Good for large groups.

We were extremely disappointed with our meal at this restaurant. The beans and peas were overcooked and mushy, and most of the dishes tasted like they had been reheated. Everything lacked freshness, especially the unappetizing onion purée. The only redeeming dish was the mushroom. At almost £7 per dish, we expected much better quality.

We had a great dining experience at this lovely little restaurant. The tapas concept is executed wonderfully, the food was tasty, and the staff was extremely friendly and courteous. We will definitely consider dining at La Casita again during our next visit to Boston Spa. Réservez une table maintenant

Delicious food. Ordered 27 dishes, all delivered in a timely manner. Only criticism is the toilet- too small and there’s only 1 for the entire restaurant.

Beautiful tapas dishes definitely recommend, great location, small friendly restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. We will be back if in the area
