La Casona - Réservation de table

Attended here for dinner last night with my family as my parents had previously been before. The starters were much enjoyed, but after waiting quite some time for our mains we were less than pleased. My mother had the salmon, of which was dry and completely over cooked, her chips were also very undercooked which was the same for my step father. My partner and I ordered pizzas, when they were delivered to the table I noticed mine looked less than appetising in comparison to his. The cheese had gone tough after being out of the oven for a while but then sat under a hot lamp. We booked a table for an anniversary meal, both my husband and I opted for the Italian menu and had a fabulous meal. Both the food and service were outstanding. Looking forward to a return visit to try out the Spanish menu. Only criticism would be the table is only reserved for 1.5 hrs. As no-one was waiting for our table this wasn't an issue for us and we were able to keep the table longer, however, this would feel a little rushed if we had to leave after our alloted time as we were still enjoying our wine!

The service provided by the staff was not impressive overall. The menu was fixed, and the desserts were lackluster. However, the cheesy garlic mushrooms starter was outstanding. The pizza was fresh with delicious toppings, and I would definitely recommend it for its quality and taste. The service was mediocre, and I had expected better. The pricing was slightly higher than expected, but the food justified the cost. The quality of the photos was poor, as they did not do the food justice.

This place should be great but unfortunately most staff just do not know a lot about the food they are serving. Go there with any kind of dietary requirements, and you're going to need to help the staff understand what is in each dish. Not great for gluten free options and I think that stems from not understanding what gluten is in the first place. I was served a double straight whisky in a pint glass, kind of sums up the level of service I won't be returning any time soon Réservez une table maintenant

Went on valentine's day, booked table for 7.30. was seated not too long after the allocated time. Had some moctails which were lovely. Then ordered a load of starters as mains. The food was tasty and plenty of it. Staff were friendly. Atmosphere was very nice. Warm and cosy. Highly recommend.

La Casona remains the best restaurant in the area by far. Having moved away from the area, it was a pleasure to revisit La Casona and to see that the quality of the food and service is as high as ever. Well done.

Nothing wrong with venue staff ,only slightly disappointed with meal , garlic bread slightley toasted nothing like normally given , 2 spaghetti bolognaise 1 with to much pasta and no sauce and other opposite ,

This restaurant is fantastic. I have visited three times in the past year and the food has consistently been exceptional. The service is also top-notch. It has become our favorite restaurant in the area. Réservez une table maintenant
