directly opposite the Bavarian botschaft in Baden-Baden, the löwenbräu, lies a little swamped la casserole. because of its towel painting front to the gladbacher road it is easy to overlook, and we have only walked past the search. a happy thing that we finally found it!The small, cozy local makes a very family impression. the service is very fast and attentive, while we arrive at half one, the only guests were, while compared to the Bajuwarian bear already insurmountable. there the zapfhahn is also opened at 10 o'clock. The kitchen is an esteemed Alsace. there are flame-cakes, chicks and frogs, but we have not been able to discover Alsatian standards such as baeckaoffe or choucroute. actually is covered here in a very frank and even a little more, for example with the cattle carpaccio that we had shared at the beginning. after that there were excellent jacobsmusks for my wife and an equally excellent lammhaxe for me, the latter very delicate and baked with a very extraordinary crust. Conclusion: a culinary pearl in a corner Baden-Baden, which is more tailored to the needs of mass.
