Precioso restaurante para disfrutar de lo mejor de la gastronomía extremeña. A tiro de piedra del centro histórico de Plasencia. Ideal para comer y tapear, sobre todo si el dinero no es un problema. Su carta de tostas es muy extensa, por 4,50 euros podrás elegir la que más te guste. Para comer tienen un comedor en el interior, muy elegante. Todos los embutidos y la carne que yo tomé (secreto) me gustaron mucho aunque, si tengo que escoger un plato del menú, me quedo con la hipercalórica torta del Casar. Este gran queso es ideal para compartir (una ración para tres o cuatro va bien), no Porque no apetezca comer más sino porque es realmente fuerte para el estómago.

Con una situación inmejorable y una carta mediterránea con especialidades como el cabrito al horno o el arroz con bogavante, el plato que desato la batalla campal en el centro de la mesa del Restaurante La Catedral fueron las raciones de tortas del Casar, uno de los quesos más reconocidos (y con motivos) de Extremadura.
