We were in St Remy on a non market day and stumbled upon this great creperie. It was down an alleyway and had a terrific in-door area with huge skylight. We all settled for the 12.90 Euros menu lunch which had a Wine, Galette and a Crepe and Coffee. The service was great with a family business it appeared. A great variety of galettes and crepes to choose from. One of our group had the traditional Britany Cider in pottery cup/bowl. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and as it was very hot we enjoyed the shade of the alleyway tables but the interior space was bright and airy with a spectacular glazed roof and plantings. The owners could not have been nicer and we felt bad that we got so much food and service for such a great price. Do make the effort to go to St Remy de Provence and La Celtie in particular, you are guaranteed a great day and experience.
I went there with my friend and I requested to have a crepe without cream because Im lactose intolerant. The waitress said no to all the request I made... to add pesto or tomato sauce or just to add eggs after checking with the chef. We then heard the chef shouting from the kitchen " THEY ARE PISSING ME OFF THOSE ONES IM NOT GOING TO ADD NOTHING" seriously unbelievable!! We stand up and decided to leave! We said to the chef that we heard what he said but he kept screaming at us that we were annoying. I told him that I have allergies and he did not care. I am so shocked, I have more than 10 years experience in customer service and this type of behavior is just unaceptable! I highly recommend you to STAY AWAY from this place!
With three gluten-free travelers in our group of five, we could not have been more thrilled to find a creperie that served gluten-free crepes!! It was delicious from start (rose wine, main course crepes and salad) to finish (dessert crepes). The variety of choices was extensive and all was superb! Thank you!!
