Awesome location, hidden on the back of Mont Chery. Came here a couple of times over winter for apres beers, and live music which were excellent. And the bonus of a range homemade rums sweetens the deal :) I've never eaten here but the atmosphere and the staff are what make it great for me. My go to place if I'm after a a cold beer in the mountains away from the crowds. Look forward to tasting the menu and seeing this place over summer :)
This is a fantastic little restaurant tucked away at the back of Mont Chery, Jaysons food is just amazing, slow cooked rib of beef and slow cooked lamb kebab are two of the meals that I've enjoyed there, and the service provided by Suzy and Kim is very warm and genuine.If you're ever in the area and they are having one of their infamous music evenings, I highly recommend booking a table.Oh yeah, and vanilla rum.....
Having been a huge fan of the food here during the winter (I had one of the best chicken curries of my life here last season!), we recently visited again for a sunny summer Sunday lunch. The food is absolutely outstanding, and the people are wonderful - warm and friendly, clearly with a genuine interest in providing a great welcome to their guests. We can't wait to return!
Been to chanterelle many times and not once had a bad meal, the food (especially the ribs) is cooked fresh and also comes with a smile from staff.Jason the manager is very considerate to guests and nothing is a problem to him.Staff are very friendly.Summertime it's a welcoming site after a bike ride knowing you are going to get a friendly welcome and good food.
