"We dined last night in this excellent restaurant. The food and service were superb. The Maitre ‘D , Jeremy, is top quality and was very helpful when a particular on the set menu did not suit my wife. Nothing was to much trouble. The wine pairings were very good and the restaurant is in a lovely room and there was a nice atmosphere. A relaxed Michelin star dining experience! Pretty rare ! We will be back"

We were tempted into having the Tentation menu consisting of six dishes, an amuse bouche and an accompanying wine with three of the courses. Everything we had was excellent from the amuse bouche right to the dessert so to whet your appetite the 6 courses were: Grilled Crayfish served with a Cote de Provence white wine John Dory Fillet served with a sparkling white wine Pigeon back (the best we have ever had) served with a Pauillac red wine A selection of local cheeses for which we were served a little extra of the above red which added to the course A pre dessert consisiting of a honey and fennel mix and finally A salted butter caramel ice cream with crispy praline A fantastic meal made even better by the banter with the staff, Melanie and Jeremy doing the hotel and restaurant proud. OK, it is not cheap but worth every penny. Oops, Euro! If staying at the hotel, a meal in this restaurant is a must.

We had the pleasure to dine at La Chapelle, aptly named as it is in an old chapel. We were in for a terrific experience. The food was fabulous as was the presentation. When you inquire a little bit about the chef, Olivier Valade, you understand why everything is so elaborate, so delicious, so beautiful ! It's obvious to everyone a Michelin Star will adorn the door very soon, and I would not be surprised if a second star follows rapidly. The wine list is good but quite limited for now, however we were impressed at the low prices compared to what you would have to pay if you were to buy the same bottles. For now, everyone tempted to go should do so while it is still affordable (A la Carte and also 3 menus: 75€, 90€ and 120€ plus wine pairing options).

Located in an old chapel with some very tastefully designed modern features, La Chapelle provides an excellent, luxury Michelin star experience. The staff is knowledgable (especially the sommelier maitre) and functions absolutely impeccable throughout. The atmosphere is slightly posh, but in a nice, not too formal way. We found the cuisine creative, surprising and tasteful with the exception of the duck main course, which was unfortunately far from tender. Ah well, you win some, you lose some. It's all part of the game. We absolutely loved our dinner here and found it worth its considerable price tag.
