La Chope Et Le Pichet

we took our French host to this beautiful restaurant, which sits on the side of the picturesque channel near the castle. the wine selection and the Belgian beer selection are excellent. the restaurant is guided by a man and a woman and everything is local...selected and beautifully fresh. the service is discreet and the steak cooked to our taste. the desserts are all homemade and the ice is wonderful. we will make this a “must visit” every time we visit them.

We came for lunch and had a delightful meal. We had le menu du jour which was gorgeous, only overshadowed by the setting. This restaurant situated aside a lock on the Garonne canal has a stunning setting and I look forward to returning on a...hopefully sunnier day! I would recommend booking to ensure a table, especially during the summer season, in fact the owner suggests that himself.

Nous avons trouvé ce petit joyau alors que nous vivions à l'opposé. Mon hôte et sa femme sont une excellente compagnie. Le menu est excellent et le service très agréable. Conseillé de réserver à l'avance. Cadre tranquille à travers le château avec vue sur le canal. Un de mes favoris.

the owner was very rude with us and unprofessional behavior because we had a reservation for 5 and we arrived in the restaurant only 4 . he ruined our nights, very disappointed, never going back.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch watching the boats go bye.The food was very tasty and the service proffesional.
