Extremely disappointing experience. Came in as a group of 4 on a Sat night to celebrate a birthday. The restaurant is advertised as being open until 11pm and so we made a reso for 9pm. This restaurant fancies itself as fine dining, however, they miss the mark on all necessary qualities other than the server wearing a suit. To begin, the underaged back server could not answer any of our questions and did not have the ability to open the spring water that we ordered, so I opened it for her. We then had to ask for bread, or it would not have been served. We attempted to order appetizers first but were told by the 16-year-old waiter that we had to put in our entire order, so we did. Minutes late...
To start, the young back server, who appeared to be underage, couldn’t answer any of our questions and struggled to open the bottled spring water we ordered; I ended up doing it for her. We had to specifically request bread, or it would not have been brought out. When we tried to order appetizers, the 16-year-old waiter informed us that we needed to place our entire order all at once, so we complied. A few minutes later, everything except the entrees arrived at our table. When we asked the kitchen to slow down the pace, we were told they couldn’t do that. The food was exceptional, earning a perfect five stars for its quality and presentation. The service was equally impressive; the staff was attentive and friendly, making our evening all the more enjoyable. The atmosphere was pleasant, with a cozy vibe that added to the overall experience, though I would rate it just slightly below a five-star level. Overall, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit for a memorable dinner.
Well, where to start? To say that we had a wonderful dinner last night would be a HUGE understatements!! From the minute we walked in we were welcomed like family. The food was out of this world fresh and delicious. Now the waitstaff….so friendly, professional and hard working. Thank you everyone from Heather, Anthony, Ben, Faith, Caitlin and Emily. We were actually on our way to dine at a different restaurant and saw La Cipollona when we parked the car. We decided to go in and Ben got us seated right away. It's a small intimate restaurant with a great atmosphere. Our waiter Jared was so sweet, nice and knowledgeable about the menu and offered great suggestions. We had a great time and the food was delicious. We will definitely go back again thanks to the experience that both Ben and Jared provided. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Amazing! From the atmosphere to the service and the food, it is an insult to call it food. It's tantalizing to your taste buds. I hosted my moms surprise 60th party at La Cipollina. They accommodated 28 family members and a singer. We were given the large party room. The food is incredible, and that is coming from an Italian family. The staff is attentive, professional, and I can not thank them enough for making sure our party went perfect. I highly recommend La Cipollina for a date night out, a family dinner, or even your next event. They are the best!
