Wonderful Setting for an Alsatian dinner with bells from all sorts and a great mood all around the restaurant. Delighted for another magic time in Alsace. La Cloche offers the best of Alsace in Obernai in terms of diversity from Flammenkuchen Alsacienne to Gratinée. Years after Years Summer after Summer enjoying the beautiful chamr of the place and the talents of it's chefs. Out of the blue, my colleagues and I walked the charming streets of Obernai. As we were building ourselves up to an important appetite, we came across La Cloche restaurant. Great Alsace food, service, and the desserts are absolutely mind boggling ! Don't hesitate, quality and reasonable price are within this restaurants' reach.
Old building in the centre, lots of rooms, very atmospheric. The service and food were very good and there was a lot of choice. We went for the Alsace food and it was more than enough for both of us. I would recommend this restaurant. Most of the other people who used it on our tour were also positive about their experience.

We enjoyed our coffee, croissant, jam and Quiche Lorraine for breakfast on the outdoor terrace of the Hotel Cloche's Salon de The (as opposed to the separate restaurant). OK except that it's on a road and can be a bit noisy.
Enjoyed the Munster flamkuchen- tasty! Good service in traditional surroundings- considering it's located in a tourist town the inability of local Resturant staff to converse in English is astounding!
Assurez-vous de réserver une table! Nous avions la nôtre réservée pour midi, et elles se sont remplies immédiatement! La fondue était délicieuse et le service excellent.
Nous sommes arrivés ici sans réservation vers 21 heures et il n'y avait rien qu'ils pouvaient faire. Nous ne mangerions pas ici avant le lendemain midi.
