I can't believe I hadn't reviewed La Colmena until now! As someone originally from Spain, I know how rare it is to find a pastry shop that offers products of such exceptional quality, even back home. I’m truly grateful to Cristina for bringing me a taste of home with her pastries and for introducing me to new flavors I hadn’t experienced before in Spain. While I have my personal favorites, every item on the menu is unique and worth savoring. Cristina’s passion and kindness truly set La Colmena apart, making it an extraordinary place. As a Spaniard, I can say Melburnians are truly lucky to have such a wonderful selection of Spanish pastries on the menu at La Colmena. They are every bit as exquisite as those found in Spain.
