La Concorde - Réserver une table

Had my dining companion been writing this piece, he would have have given it a lower rating, as he thought his mussels were off and sent them back, but I just ordered the cheese plate and it was really good - 3 or 4 different types, all in good condition and a generous portion. Service was fine, although there was no offer to replace the mussels with an alternative, which I would have expected.

It appeared to be one of the cheapest places to eat in the delightful main square in Limoux. But it wasn't great at all including slightly surly service. I chose the moules and about a quarter weren't open and the frites were of poor quality. Lots of flies too. Spend a little more and go elsewhere.

Massive disappointment, the Boeuf Bourguignon was not properly cooked or reheated as the meat was both hot and cold. I would never go back and judging by the number of people sitting at this restaurant and at the other restaurants around the square, I really should have checked it out first.

5 set menus at 15 euros plus wine a great lunch in great setting of Place de la Republique, outside in full sun in mid-April can't be bad. Good variety of dishes, well cooked and presented by cheerful, friendly staff. Thoroughly recommended

Had an outdoor lunch at this restaurant recently. Very nice atmosphere and food was very good. Recommend the Paella.
