La Contraria - Réserver une table

Family run little cafe with very nice authentic Spanish cuisine. They don't have a big menu and there is nothing fancy but if you want good local cooking the wife is the cook) and personalized service the husband's job) this is it. The potatoes au gratin served cold are just wonderful. It's a locals place for basic locals food.

I loved this place. After spending a day in Toledo, this felt like the most local place. Cold beer in a cold glass, authentic food, great service, local Spanish TV inside, I will come here again next time!

Small family bar which seems good to sit, but unfortunatelly not possible just to have tea or coffee. You are not allowed to stay without eating.

Great place to stop on the way to or from the train, the iced coffees (frappé are amazing.
