La nourriture était correcte, surtout les coquilles Saint-Jacques et les madeleines ; la vue est naturellement impressionnante. Points négatifs : La communication avec le restaurant pour réserver et planifier, en particulier pour notre grand événement de 30 invités, était trop peu fréquente et pas particulièrement utile. Nous avons dû poser toutes les questions ; les options de menu et les offres n'étaient pas clairement fournies sans demande explicite. Le service était médiocre : la réception était timide et peu communicative. Généralement trop peu de serveurs pour les invités. Particulièrement décevant, le service en groupe était bien pire que ce que j'espérais en couple. Le vin n'a jamais...
Made it here for an anniversary of our marriage. The entrance is tacky with the buro desk and Apple computer (please get rid of)!, makes you feel like you are at the doctors reception.The service is slow. Our wine and meal came 50 mins after we came. No apologies from the waiters..Food was very very tasty, can't fool that, we loved all the dishes served from the gastronomic menu, well done on chef for these amazing dishes.Wine was good, but lack of any effort to explain to us what was the wine? Where was it from? A little story about each wine would have done wonders, but the waiter was very abrupt only saying the name and if this was sugary or dry..(perhaps she thought we didn't speak Frenc...
New owners at this trendy restaurant and a place to experience as soon as you can. Every meal a gustatory experience : a harmony of seasons vegetables, textures, colours, savors ! Simply blown away. We couldn't find anything to complain about, the food modern, light and refined, sophisticated wine selection for an all round tasting with perfect accord and a lovely, polite but natural staff. We will rush back at the next opportunity ! I don't know why they don't have a Michelin star yet, they definitely deserve one. And have I mentioned the location with the view ...?
I adore the food and atmosphere in this restaurant.The food was amazing, as was the wine. The location is very nice and easy to get to. The design of the restaurant is perfect.The server who served the food had troubles with English, but tried very hard, so it is OK.The server who served us the wine was very well spoken, and gave a feeling we were welcomed.The reception area when arriving and leaving, was a disappointment, which somewhat spoiled the experience. They didn't even have a business card.
J'y ai emmené ma famille pour un déjeuner du dimanche qui s'est avéré excellent. Le choix des vins est limité mais bon, je recommande vivement l'Auxey Duresse Blanc, excellent et à prix raisonnable. La nourriture était créative et excellente, même si je pensais que la sauce au caillé sans thème pour le veau était un peu trop.
La Corne d'Or has an amazing view over Grenoble ... lunch and dinner views are impressive ... summer and winter.But the real enjoyment comes from the well prepared and presented food, the welcoming staff, the extensive wine list .Highly recommend a meal here to make your visit to Grenoble ... unforgettable!
I took my family there on a Sunday lunch which turned out great.The wine choice is limited but good, I recommend highly the White Auxey Duresse, excellent and reasonably priced.The food was creative and excellent, though I thought themeless curd sauce for the veal was a bit too much.
The view across the valley is breathtaking, along with the food. Great value, fixed lunch menu during the week. The restaurant is very modern with a panoramic glass wall to take in the scenery. Staff are friendly and efficient and the food is served quickly....More
