First experience was great, always got take out, then it gradually went downhill after 3 more visits, with the quesadilla being pretty thin, also basically not cut so when you try to pull it apart it just rips into sloppy shreds. Last girl who answered the phone at phone was rude, then I got my food home, unwrapped everything sat down to start a movie when I realized part of my order was missing, called in and same girl was rude about it, I had to drive all the way back to get rest of my order. Its just not convenient to take everything out of the paper bag unwrap every box to check they did their job at the hostess table before leaving.
I've been eating here for 12 years and the consistency and quality has never wavered. Their standard Mexican offerings are solid and much the same as the thousand other Mexican restaurants within a stone's throw, BUT their house specialties is where La Costa really shines. They feature unique dishes I've not seen elsewhere and they're out of this world! Pollo Fundido, Burrito Cancun and Pescado Veracruzana are my favorites. El Patron is unbeatable if you're hungry!
So, we usually dine in. I love this place; however, both times we have ordered take out they have messed up our order. I will have to throw out another order as we will not eat this. I hate to write a review that isn't good, but seriously , if we can just get the to go order down correctly I would be giving you a 10 start. We even wait go in and actually order it instead of over the phone.
they remind me how Mexican restaurants taste earlier when I was a child, not authentic, American. they make excellent hard tacos and enchiladas and the staff is very friendly. the only big part is that they don't offer chips and salsa, they have to buy separately, that is minus the star. I like comeback, but other Mexican restaurant still offer chips and salsa with all meals. Réservez une table maintenant
Our favorite family style restaurant. We have become regular customers and have a favorite dish we order each time (seafood stew). This place has friendly efficient service with a large selection. I think every time we go, there is a large group having a birthday party creating a festive atmosphere. We drive from west Seattle to Burien just to eat here.
La Costa is outstanding, offering a wide variety of options for both adults and a kid-friendly menu. The food is delicious and full of flavor. It’s always my top choice whenever I'm in Burien. Last night, I had their pozole, and it was fantastic. The service is also excellent; the staff is always attentive to your every need and desire.
My boyfriend came here once before and said it was the BEST Mexican food he's had in awhile (which he's a mexican food fanatic) but the service was pretty bad tonight and so was the food. Very disappointed. I don't know what deserves the two stars but maybe because I'll give the place a second chance.
My go-to Mexican restaurant in Burien. Consistently good food and wonderful service from the same waitstaff over the last 15 years. Good margaritas too. There are 2 sides to the restaurant. If you want a quieter and warmer atmosphere. Sit on the right side. Réservez une table maintenant
