Having looked on Tripadvisor for somewhere to eat, we chose this restaurant because it looked nice. The restaurant appears to have 3 areas, one for drinking, one for eating outside and one inside. It was a Tuesday evening in the middle of May so the restaurant was not busy with plenty of free tables outside. I asked for a table for 2 to eat outside and the waiter without greeting us just said inside! I said no we wanted a table for 2 outside and he repeated inside and then just walked off muttering to himself. I followed him because I thought he was going to find us a table but he just went to another occupied table and started laughing with them and then just looked up and looked at me in a very unfriendly manner as if to say what are you still doing here? We left the restaurant feeling quite upset and shocked at this waiter’s attitude towards us. We went to another restaurant where we were greeted with a hello and a smile and a yes of course you can have a table………
You know, it was OK, but nothing better. We were a bit rushed from start to finish. I like quick service but when you are asked twice if you are ready to order within 5 minutes of arriving, and then the steaks arrive less than 10 minutes after ordering, it feels more like a MacDonalds. We were done 45 minutes after sitting down!’ On a positive note the food was OK, and probably the cheapest meal we had on the whole holiday, but don’t expect to spend a relaxing evening there.
Population restaurant with locals. Warm and inviting atmosphere. Very attentive staff. Small but excellent varied menu. Very generous portions. We shared charcuiterie and cheese plater superb. My husband's burger was perfectly cooked rare, and my shrimp and scallop risotto was delicious. Highly recommended.
