We hadn't booked but as it was early (7pm) we were welcomed and shown to a pretty corner table next to a picture window looking into part of the old wine cellar. The waitress didn't speak any English so it was a little pot luck...as to what we would actually get though fortunately it was pretty much what we thought from our limited knowledge of French! We ordered from the 29€ 50 menu. My husband had a goat cheese mousse starter, with the meat of the day (veal) and a stewed pear dessert; I had the fish bouillabaisse soup, duck breast and an apple tarte tatin type dessert. A very nice meal indeed in relaxed surroundings full of character.
