La Crémaillère - Réservation de table

Avec le recul, je suis surpris par le grand nombre de critiques positives. Nous nous sommes arrêtés pour déjeuner, sur la base d'eux, et avons été déçus. Le personnel est assez sympathique et le Magret de Canard notre plat principal était assez compétent. Le pain posé sur la table semblait provenir d'un supermarché. Nous avons commandé du fromage dans le cadre de notre déjeuner spécial, et cela ressemblait également à la qualité d'un supermarché. Je comprends les pressions économiques sur les restaurants (et les clients) de nos jours. Proposer un déjeuner spécial à 19/5 euros peut être un défi, et peut-être ce que le marché local pourra supporter. Je paierais certainement beaucoup plus que c...

We visited upon recommendation of friends who live in Brignoles whilst we were staying in Le Val. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and immediately greeted with a friendly reception. Both my partner and I speak a little French but the chef insisted on helping us and explained the menu which I thought was a magnificent and welcoming touch. We ordered a very nice bottle of local Rose. The food was beautifully fresh and extremely well executed. The service offered by the family is truly brilliant and even made a fuss of our 7 month daughter. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is staying locally in the region. We had looked around for a restaurant and had found this place on TA. Although it was second of three in Le Val it had 97 reviews whereas the top spot went to a place with three reviews. We had a starters of fois gras and scallops. Both as good as they get. Then for main we had the lamb chops. These were beautifully pink and cooked so expertly. Possibly my favourite meal in France so far. Bravo Chef!

Nous y avons dîné hier et c'était le meilleur que nous ayons eu pendant nos vacances en Provence. Tout était absolument délicieux !! Le service était excellent (nous ne savons pas lire le français, donc la serveuse/propriétaire a traduit et recommandé les meilleurs plats à commander et ses recommandations étaient... en effet très très bonnes). Les prix sont également très raisonnables. Réservez une table maintenant

We had dinner there yesterday and it was the best one we had during our vacation in Provence. Everything was absulutely delicious!! The service was excellent (we can't read French so the waitress/owner translated and recommended the best dishes to order and her recomendations were indeed very very good). The prices are very reasonable as well.

This is a simple local restaurant with a lot of +++++'s! Always a warm reception, always nice food, always acceptable bills. Only one wish: a bit more variation so regular visitors can have more surprises on their plates and in their glasses :-)

One of the best restaurants in the South of France. We always go here when visiting my mother & have never been disappointed. You can see chef cooking & everything is done from scratch, even filleting the fish. Can highly recommended. Réservez une table maintenant

We had a great, leisurely meal here.The food was really good and the staff went out of their way for us by even driving us back to our hotel as there were no taxis! Fantastic place.
