We visited on friends’ recommendation. It has a great location though the way the restaurant is decorated and furnished is very clinical and this I think affects the atmosphere. It’s clearly popular with the local people as it was very busy on Easter Saturday when we visited. The staff were efficient and friendly and the food generally pretty good though the vegetables that accompanied my smallish sea bass were seriously over cooked. There were no complaints however from my friends and family. My rating may be a little harsh but I suppose that I expected a little more atmosphere and slightly better food. The staff though cannot be faulted.
Je me suis arrêté au bar de la terrasse pour prendre un verre par une belle soirée. J'ai commandé un cocktail et une bière. Quand ils sont finalement arrivés, ma femme a essayé son cocktail pour découvrir qu'il était tiède et avait un goût dégoûtant. J'ai attrapé le serveur pour lui dire que c'était insatisfaisant. Il a haussé les épaules et a dit que c'était comme ça que le cocktail était fait, alors je lui ai demandé de l'emporter. En payant l'addition, il m'a quand même facturé le cocktail même si je l'avais renvoyé (8,20 €) et a refusé de me rembourser car ma femme en avait bu une gorgée. Un service client épouvantable.
A pleasant welcome from the staff but we were not permitted to sit by the window with views over the sea as these tables were apparently reserved. We observed throughout the evening that they clearly were not reserved! The restaurant was very busy for a Friday night in late October. The food was OK. Freshly prepared. I had a 'Tartine Canibale ' which was effectively a large piece of toast, topped with raw mince and a cheesy mixture! I could have made it at home, (and cooked the mince) so a little disappointing.
Ate here on the way thru. It was busy and they were turning people away altho we could see vacant tables. Waitress did her best but was overstretched. 3 of us had burgers and they were average fish and chicken being of the deep fried variety and crunchy rather than succulent. The fourth person had a salad which came complete with small flies and was sent back (it was deducted from our bill). Overpriced, probably over rated and we have had better in the establishment next door to it.

Ma famille et moi sommes venus manger là-bas et la nourriture était vraiment délicieuse. J'ai commandé du saumon gravlax et un burger savoyard. Le saumon était excellent, le burger était incroyable, les frites étaient délicieuses ! L'emplacement est génial aussi ! La seule chose que je peux reprocher, ce sont les prix : mon burger coûtait 15 € et le saumon 10 €. Un super endroit pour manger !
C'est un endroit très convivial mais la nourriture n'est que moyenne à médiocre. L'ambiance est celle d'une station-service autoroutière et la nourriture est chère et la nuit que j'ai visitée était moyenne à médiocre, alors cherchez plus loin. Cela dit, le personnel est sympathique, alors je le recommande uniquement pour prendre un verre en début de soirée et passer à autre chose.
Nous avons visité ce restaurant parce qu'il nous offrait la possibilité de nous asseoir et d'admirer le coucher de soleil et la promenade, tout en nous protégeant du vent frais ! La nourriture était correcte, sans pour autant nous enthousiasmer, et nous avons dû renvoyer un steak car il n'était pas cuit à point comme nous l'avions demandé !
The hotel was raving about this place but we found it to be pretty average, in fact not very tasty. The moules was sprinkled with way too much parsley, the fries were soggy. My fish was a bit chewy which was a surprise given that it was supposed to be a local white fish. Service was ok but a bit slow.

Don’t be put off by the fact it is on the beach, surrounded by rip off bars with con owners trying to inflate prices. This is a genuine nice restaurant that does its best to serve and give you good value excellent food, when nobody else does in the immediate vicinity. This the is one place to eat in.
