La Croix d'OR - Réserver une table

I am usually very little difficult with regard to establishments, services and foods, but my experience in this restaurant has been more than disposable. We arrived at 7.15 p.m. and already a bunch of drunks were starved at the bar. We were whistled, we took disparaging remarks and we were rudely dragged all of this in the eyes of the officials of the establishment who didn't grind by seeing this sad show. The table service was more than mediocre. a waitress without genes and very unpolished. We ordered a torch pie each and the waitress looked at us odiously by telling us that it will be too much for us. Once our dishes arrived, we had no fork to cut food. I had the misfortune to ask our waitress and the only thing she can find to tell me is that "it's nicer to eat with the fingers." and having a big flaming pie consumator, the one that was served me is by far the worst I ate until now. a sort of bloating flanean replaced the fresh cream that usually found on the torched pies. We decided to go for dessert and coffee elsewhere. obliged to pay at the counter, we found ourselves again alongside the drunkards who welcomed us. The painting was the same as at the beginning. In short, a very bad evening. the restaurant is in a beautiful typical Alsatian establishment and the terrace in the courtyard is pleasant, it is the only positive points I find to say.

gourmet stop on the terrace Saturday evening, very friendly reception of waitresses and torched pie. one of the best of alsace and a quality riesling at moderate prices, customers are apparently a lot of accustomed who find themselves here in all simplicity and in the good mood first passage here in 1983....yes yes. and nothing has changed, especially not changing anything is perfect

On the return of the Italian we stayed at rosheim where we ate the best torch we ate for 30 years. The restaurant the Golden Cross is a typical Alsatian establishment that gives you direct family warmth!Thanks to local travellers we also tasted the apple torch pie, an excellent dessert. I invite you all to eat if you have the opportunity, it's a must.

the flame cakes were perfect, especially the flame cake with Munster cheese. the outside area of the restaurant is beautifully arranged. the family-run restaurant makes a floor-to-ceiling impression. the personal also speaks German.price/performance very good.

a typical family restaurant that offers pizza and flamm, speciality of the region, very good reception and excellent meals, homemade paste, a simple but effective map and white wine made by the family also is fantastic (be sure a gewurtztraminer).
