Nice neighborhood bar/restaurant located near the Barañain neighborhood in Pamplona. Run by a wonderful couple. Nothing fancy but decent food and drink at reasonable prices. Indoors, it probably seats around 25 or so. Also has an outdoor terrace. La Cuchara specializes in paellas of all types but they also sell burgers, txurrasco, sepia, chicken breasts, wings, etc. While they do not have live coals, the steak they serve here, cooked on the plancha, is exceptional. Aged, I believe. Bring an appetite. I had chips and fresh friend green peppers with mine. The fritos here are all homemade, not frozen. Frito de pimiento, ham and cheese, etc. They have homemade empanadas with a delicious homemade...

I've got a lot of food and attention. very friendly waitress, good amount of food and affordable prices, plus the terrace is great, in the shade and good breeze. It's the first time we've come if we come back, we repeat.
