Our reservation was at 5:15 so when we arrived it wasn't that busy, but by 6:00 the place was packed. Our waitperson, Jeffrey, was attentive, friendly and not afraid to have a conversation. He was knowledgeable about the menu and, even as it became very busy, still checked on us often to see to our needs. The food was excellent and our friends who joined us also raved about the food. It is a BYOB restaurant which we like. We will definitely go back and we highly recommend this place to anyone looking for some good Italian food just like Mamma used to make.
Everything at the restaurant was satisfactory except for the dessert. I chose the orange sorbet and was disappointed to receive a frozen solid hollowed-out orange with the sorbet inside. Despite it being a nice presentation, it was impossible to eat as the sorbet was too solid to chip off. It took me half an hour to crack it open. My husband tried to order biscotti but the waiter informed us they were out. In an Italian restaurant? It also appeared that the restaurant was less busy compared to when it was Clemenza's.
Would have given a higher score but we had reservations, had to wait over 1/2 hr before being seated. Had to ask to have our wine opened and for wine glasses. Received our salad which was very good but then waited over an hour for our meal. I understand they were short a person but thought this was really slow. Might go back because the food was really good but it's not going to be for quite a while. Hope they get their staffing situation fixed.
We ate at La Cucina for the first time before a show at the Papermill. The food was very good, needed a bit more sauce on the pasta with the chicken Francese. The service was also very good up until it was time for coffee and dessert. They were fairly busy, and the service slacked a bit. Overall, very good experience.

Very nice people. Owner and staff. It’s a pizza place with a second location for dinner. Need to work on some of the food items. Others were terrific. Keep trying. Beware however if you are expecting fine dining. It’s not that sort of location.
I’m always gonna give 5 stars because I love this place when we arrived for our reservation and after being confirmed twice the place was not open . A call would have been nice
Consistently delicious, the linguine with clams is excellent and the Caesar salad is great. The pizza is reliably good as well.
Outside tables at a comfortable distance. Food was amazing. New menu items were great.

Food here is always excellent....really does remind you of a home cooked meal!
