Arrived at this town as there was limited choice of options in the area to eatHad to wait till 1900 to the restaurant opened and was the first in the doorIt was a well decorated mid class French restraintI told the owners wife that I wanted vegetarian and we decided in a much room pie with salad followed by three cheeses for 15.50It was good value and I loved my pie which was filled with mushroom and encased in puff pastry The service was friendly and the restaurant was popular
Visited here on a whim as we were in the area - and very glad we did. Food is excellent and nicely presented with quick, friendly service. The prices are very reasonable and we left feeling we'd had a good quality meal for a very fair price. There's a varied main menu plus a specials board with cheaper options. I had mixed seafood salad from the main menu which was really fresh, tasty and filling. My companion had paella from the specials board which was delicious, too.
Nous avons dîné ici un samedi. Nous avons été accueillis par un personnel serviable (et anglophone). Était proposé le "menu du week-end" avec un choix considérable et des plats de qualité top. Les prix étaient également raisonnables. Un meilleur rapport qualité-prix que tout ce que nous avons pu expérimenter à Amiens ou à Albert. Nous sommes tous partis en disant que nous devrions y retourner. Simplement le meilleur que j'ai eu en France depuis longtemps.
J'ai adoré ce restaurant. Non seulement nous avons eu une excellente cuisine, des prix raisonnables et un excellent service de la part de notre serveuse, mais tout le monde était si sympathique avec nous, les Australiens - en particulier le charmant (très populaire) couple à côté de nous qui nous a gentiment offert des cafés et nous a dit Au Revoir de manière traditionnelle xxxx! Enchanté!
Stopped in Doullens on the way back to our holiday cottage after a trip to the Somme battlefields, and selected this restaurant based on Trip Advisor reviews.We were first through the door at 7pm and were welcomed by the owner.The menu isn't huge, but the food was well prepared and tasty, and the service was pretty good. It's not haut cuisine, but no real complaints.
We travelled to Doullens to visit our favourite restaurant, Aux Saveurs Authentiques but found that it had closed down so turned to our second favourite, Le Bristol but was closed at lunchtime so we visited La Dent de Loup, after negotiating a complicated menu and set meal board we enjoyed a very well presented and delicious three course lunch.
