I 'm not an Italian food fan in fact I avoid it when at all possible. But the French are good at saying Italian Food while at the same time making it French and that 's fine. We sat down to a varied menu with a slight emphasis on Pizza but by no means was that the only choice. Varied meant Varied. This place is homely welcoming and provides Pizza 's the French way and they taste great. The owner 's wife was having to work front of house when we were there due to staff illness. So sorry we didn 't get her name she was great and added to the atmosphere. A Restaurant that is popular with locals is never a bad thing All in all could not fault it and when the bill came I was very satisfied.
As a group of 16 we had an excellent evening at this informal pizzeria. Pizzas were freshly cooked, delicious and offered veggie options. Service was friendly efficient and we had our own private space. The small Dolcezza team worked very hard to make sure we had a great evening and Olivier, the owner, was very helpful sorting menu choices out in advance. Thank you again.
A few hundred meters from the center of Ancenis this place is worth finding. The pizzas were very good and there was a range of options to suit most tastes. It quickly filled up with locals which is a good sign and bill was very reasonable. Only a small amount of English spoken but staff were helpful and we managed with our basic French. Would visit again if in the area.
