The surrounding was very very nice Unfortunately the staff wasn't attentive may not be because we spoke English They were not exactly rude but not that welcoming either They were very attentive to the couple next to us who spoke French to each other and ordered less than we did Admittedly we made a mistake in our food thinking we ordered beef when in fact it was pork not a problem we eat both but when we ask the "cuisson" he didn't correct us ! The waiter never asked if everything was ok and I had to go him to get a bottle of water The starter we had was very nice but when the main turned up it was pork has I mentioned earlier and tough as old boots ! All in all nice surrounding but not so nice food ! And ps they do not take cards !!! :(

OMG I am from Sospel and I went to La Draye 2 weeks ago!The food was so good, I was really surprising to found local recipes.I had the the farcis of vegetable, a specialty of Nice France, they were really good. This place has great Charcuterie since they sell also cheese and cold cut at the entrance! The owner is really good about wines they have a great selection of wines, if you love Pinot Noir like me you will be in heaven! If the weather is nice ask them to sit outside by the river under the old bridge, from the road of the salt!Make sure you go early they get sold out time to time on the farcis, But hey they are the way my Grandma used to make it! So make a reservation!

We are glad to dine in this restaurant that is just next to the river below the bridge. Lovely food, everything is home made. We had stuffed cuttlefish and suckling pig. For the little one, we asked if they could make an omelet and they were so kind to oblige, and it turned out great!!For dessert, we had apple tart and ricotta cheese with rum, and they were excellent.Service was attentive and discreet, without being too overwhelming.I agree with the other reviews that it is a restaurant not to be missed!

We turned up quite late for lunch, just a snack, but what a lovely snack of local cuisine, farcis a speciality I think. It was so good we went back a couple of days later. This time we had the courgette lasagne with goats cheese, oh my goodness this was so good, I keep dreaming about and I am not keen on goats cheese.Really lovely setting that is hidden from the main drag. Lovely staff, and a nice cheeky rose to enjoy, well it was my birthday.
