Fantastic food, but the real jewel is the authentic Mexican food in the restaurant. The food speaks for itself. The meat is delicious. All shrimps are fresh and crisp. The tortillas and bread used for the sandwiches are also really good. The fried beans are surely a favorite!! Also try the homemade sauces on the table. Very nice kick / unexpected flavors! I don't know what they were, but they're delicious!!

Authentic Mexican.... La Estrella is a supermarket / butcher / restaurant at the exit 113 of I-26. Outside and inside do not look like much, but Damn the food is great. I ordered takeout, shrimp and pork tacos that were fantastic and rice and beans were just as delicious. The people who run the restaurant are friendly and the prices are reasonable. Our definite are going to see for Mexico in the future.

Everyone was friendly and the food was fantastic! We asked our waiter for his recommendation. He suggested the Taco Duranguence. It was great. And very reasonably priced. $25 for two! The restaurant is part of the grocery store, where you can get authentic Mexican products. They even have a meat counter. A must stop for us next time we’re passing through Cayce, SC. Convenient to the interstate as well.

Delicious and authentic food... but the Margarita came from a prefabricated mix of the store.
