I dined here Sunday night with family. The table decided on the family style option and I had let the waiter know that I have a severe gluten allergy (I have celiac) and that I would like to order a salad separate to the family style option to ensure I don?t have an allergic reaction. The waiter mentioned that he could make majority of the dishes gluten free on the family style option and that he would make sure the gluten free dishes were made known to me once everything hit the table, so I trusted what I was told and went with that option. We went here last night for dinner food was excellent. We had one problem we think he was the manager he came over to us and said hello and then said he was bringing out a sample of the manicotti that his chef is preparing for this weekend’s dinners. So it sounded like he was giving to us. Well the bill comes and we were charged for it $32.00. We were all thumb founded. We were with friends that we see occasionally I felt funny saying something to the guy that offer it to us. But thinking more of it I don’t think it was right of the guy, cause it sounded like he was giving it to us. Next time if I ever go back I will ask are you giving to us as a sample? But like I said food was delicious.
Tonight I took my family out to dinner and we decided on trying La Famiglia and so glad we did. We just moved into the area and have tried a lot of restaurants and this one is definitely top 3. Our server Tommy was phenomenal and we couldn’t have been happier with his service and wonderful attitude. The owner John came over and welcomed us on our 1st of many visits. As an owner of a business myself if was refreshing to see his employees love their job. Easy to see as they flow through the dining room with great attitudes and smiles all around. Yummy! We had tickets to the Smithtown performing Arts Center, and La Famiglia was right on the way. Hot antipasto was by far the best we have ever had and it's big enough to feed an army. Shrimp parmigiana we superb, and the sauce was sheer perfection. Portions are most definitely family style so you need to be careful not to over order or you will have big doggie bags. Excellent friendly service made the meal even better. The owner came out to speak with us and thank us. Definitely worth more visits. We will probably try the one in Plainview.

The food and atmosphere at this restaurant were fantastic. The bartender provided excellent service, and the prices were very reasonable. The overall service, meal type, and atmosphere were all rated at a 5. Highly recommended dishes include the Veal Chop and Veal Parmesan. The average cost per person ranges from $30 to $50.
The service at this restaurant was extremely polite and the meals were very filling. I ordered the snapper and burrata specials and they were both outstanding. They also served excellent cocktails. Overall, I would rate the dine-in experience a 5 out of 5 for both food and service, with a 5 out of 5 for atmosphere as well.
Went there Saturday night Ordered clam, Good flavors but look the breadcrumbs came burned ordered Promodoro Spaghetti was great, Wondered why Italian place but no Lamb in the menu.... Service friendly but just okay! I need second drink, but no server came. Overall was ok But prefer other branch at Babylon
