This is the second time we 've visited la Ferme Basque. The first time was in 2008 in the depths of winter, tucked into a corner of the small inside restaurant with a cassette fireplace blazing to provide heat. This time the in the warm march sunshine it was a different experience, not sure if it has changed hands but there was a friendly welcome and a nice atmosphere with a choice of a la carte or a E29 3 course Menu. We sat on the terrace with great views across the valley towards the town of Cauterets and beyond. We brought our young puppy Rollo expecting he 'd be a problem but he was welcome too.
