La Ferme Saint Hubert

We arrived a little early, but were welcomed in and taken to our table. No waiting to order an apperitive. The restaurant has been recently upgraded, so the decor and furniture is now light, attractive and stylish. I had a cheaper menu and two fish courses, both tasty and well presented. My companion had the next menu, as he likes the andouiette, which is not often available. We both throughly enjoyed our food. We felt satisfied, without being given huge portions. Service was attentive and slick, which was good when we had a ferry to catch.We are looking forward to coming again, next time we are coming to Caen.

We have had a very enjoyable dinner before catching the ferry. Food was very well presented and beautifully cooked. The setting is appealing and the decor is modern and tatesfully done. We chose different menus and both were ample. The service was impeccable. Definitely a place to come back again as it is also very easy for the ferry terminal. I advise to book in advance as the place soon after our arrival was full.

We were looking for somewhere for lunch and there was nothing nearby until we found this. With 4 children we weren't sure if this was the right place to stop as we were really looking for a quick stop but they were very welcoming and the food was good and tarte tatin is recommended.

We had a three course Lunch menu with an excellent bottle of MenetouSalon. The FoieGras is very good, the St. Jacques for a main course too small. The three small slices of cheese as dessert are a bit a shame. Quality overall good, portions too small. So a bit expensive.

I would highly recommend this restaurant. They were very welcoming despite our casual dress after a 12 hour drive from Provence. Excellent food. Great service. 10 minutes to ferry check in.
