Love the people here, the service, and the food. They have menu selections of Mexican and American entrees. The prices are reasonable, such as $10.99, $12.99, etc. They have kiddie selections and senior selections. No buffet, so all orders are fresh. The mural painting of the beautiful Hispanic woman is wonderful, who happens to be the daughter of the original owner. La Fiesta has had many years in Artesia, having first started out on N. Roselawn, then 13th St., and currently on S. 1st St. I can remember going to La Fiesta as a child, so that speaks for itself. May La Fiesta have many more good years. The food at this restaurant was delicious, but the service left much to be desired. Despite multiple requests, my tea was not refilled when I ordered hot green chile. Eventually, the waitress brought out a pitcher of tea but refilled other tables before attending to my request. I recommend bringing your own bottled water when dining at La Fiesta in Artesia, NM due to the poor service. As a district manager for a well-known fast food chain, I find this level of service unacceptable. I hope they can improve in the future.
We waited for over 15 minutes and never saw our server, so we decided to leave. While the food might be good, the service was non-existent. Unfortunately, this is not an exaggeration. We waited for 15 minutes and no one came to take our order, get our drinks, or even acknowledge our presence before we ultimately left.
We arrived just before the restaurant closed in the mid-afternoon. Our waitress was friendly, helpful, and kind. Our family of eight was treated warmly, and the food was excellent and delicious!

I ordered two burgers tonight and they were excellent! I am looking forward to when indoor seating reopens so we can dine in. We will definitely be coming back to this restaurant again.
This is THE BEST FOOD in Artesia. The food is always so good. They are so nice and polite, they provide Amazing service. BEST PLACE TO EAT EVER.

The enchiladas, red and green, the tamales, and the green chili stew were all delicious. Overall, everything was really good.
