We loved it here.Whenever we come over for Xmas markets, we like to eat a bit of flamkuchen, it's one of our fav's, so when we found out there was a flamkuchen restaurant in town, it was a no brainer!We had a nice table out in the courtyard. It looked great out there, few trees and some umbrellas, a nice looking area.There was an extensive list of toppings on the menu, so we decided to order a couple first, see how hungry we were, then order more as required.The excellent waitress gave explained that there was an all you can eat option at €13.95 each. If what we ordered through the evening went over that amount, that's all we would pay (per person). If the ordered food did not reach that amo...
I like to go to the flame. there is a lot of choice, many new creations and the flame cakes are always super delicious. I also find the environment very nice, although it is sometimes a bit loud, especially when large groups are there. the service was always very nice. we never had to wait very long for new orders or drinks. we only had the problem that we sat alone in one corner and then I think something was forgotten, as we had to draw the waiters attention to us, although it was not full. this has only happened once, as I said, and was certainly on our seat. otherwise everything was always top and, as already said, always super delicious.
we wanted to celebrate our annual day there. we did not get our (2 weeks in front) reserved table. founding: there were only other people sitting. we can't just tell them they're wrong, and then we were suggested to stand for food. After 30 minutes we finally have a table. Too bad it took 20 minutes to get a waitress after a call. for a further 45 minutes the preparation for a flammable cake took place. about 3 hours later (so after 3 flammkuchen) we wanted to go. a strange word. everything you can eat, I'll imagine anything else. in no case recommended!
very cozy restaurant in an old building near the railway station. the menu was very impressive - such a variety of flaky cakes we have seen nowhere else. there are cakes for every taste! also the service staff is top! fast, intrusive, nice. for those who really want to eat and cannot choose one of the dishes, there is an excellent "all can eat" offer - they pay a price (about 15 €) and can eat as much as they can eat.

Idéalement située à proximité gare et centre ville, un cadre tranquille, un accueil idéal et une carte où toutes les tartes proposées font envie. Un fond musical discret nous ramenant quelques années en arrière, l'ambiance se détend au fur et à mesure que la soirée avance. Pour conclure, je vous coinseille une petite poire: Exceptionnelle!
had it to eat! unfortunately not fresh, again and again they have to tell the waiter that they want salt, pfeffer served! wanted to take a sixth table, but he would have to be kept free! start: they are 4 of the table! unfortunately bad in the whole package!
wanted to try the la flame. But it remains. there were any misorders/drinks and food/the flaky cakes were more than little occupied /we didn't like it either. clear it is taste but at the evening more than went wrong. for us no second visit will take place.
more interesting place for a dinner with friends. a pizza alternative with many variations, also seasonal. friendly and helpful staff.
