La Flamme Gourmande

We booked a table at this restaurant based on the high reviews here on tripadvisor, so I think it's important to provide a different perspective, of our terrible meal. We started our meal with a couple salads, which were swarming with insects. We not only found small green bugs mind you, but also a large black beetle stuck to the lettuce leaves. Upon notifying the staff, they did not whisk the plate away immediately. Instead, they pondered the bugs in the salad, and only after staring at them for a couple minutes did they agree to remove those items from our bill. From then on, our meal was basically ruined. La nourriture excellente et le personnel très sympathique, une équipe très professionnelle ! Une très grande pizza et d'excellents plats de pâtes, et si ce n'est pas suffisant, essayez le menu des desserts, tout ce que je peux dire c'est waouh !!!

We were so happy to find this place after driving in The Vosges. Such delicious food and wine. The pizza was better than Italy. And the best salad.

So glad "mes cousines" from Colmar took us here to eat during our trip to Alsace The "nouveau" version of Tarte Flambées are so good here
