We called in for a meal having a looked at what I would call a reps or business hotel in the same grounds. The layout of the restaurant is fairly basic but comfortable. The staff extremely friendly nothing was too much trouble , it was obvious looking around that there were a lot of returning business customers who were staying in the hotel . No wonder the food was excellent and quite large portions so much so that we had to say no to the cheese course although it was included in the set menu. We will definately return

The staff was extremely friendly, nothing was too much trouble, it was obvious to see that there were many recurring business customers in the hotel. No wonder that the food was excellent and very large portions so much that we say no to the cheese course, although it was included in the set menu. We will return

Nous cherchions un restaurant près de notre hôtel et nous l'avons trouvé juste à côté. Le personnel était sympathique et nous a aidé à expliquer le menu français. J'ai eu une étoile de salade de canard tiède puis le filet de bœuf en plat principal. Les deux étaient très bons. Le mari avait un des filets de pêche qu'il disait également être bon. C'était aussi bon marché. Le service était également assez rapide.

Les gens étaient très sympathiques et accueillants, même si nous n'avions qu'un petit déjeuner. Qualité de la nourriture très bonne et service efficace. Endroit prisé et Coveniet pour une pause sur le chemin du ferry Sud.

People were very friendly and welcoming, even if we only had a small lunch. Quality of food very good and service efficient. Place popular and coveniet for a break on the way from the ferry south.
