I wish I would’ve carefully read the reviews before going in here. I like trying hole in the wall places because 9 times out of 10 they’re food is delicious! But this place just wasn’t it for me. First of all, I agree with the person below mentioning that the green sauces look weeks old! The oil was all settled on the bottom and the waitress dropped them off not caring about their appearance. And second of all, their food is loaded with MSG including the sauces on the table! Now I know that most restaurants use msg to enhance flavors, but jeez this tasted like they poured the whole bottle in our food! Both my mom and I ended up with literal headaches on our drive home. Worst experience ever! Strongly recommend not to step foot in this place, the food is horrible the green sauce are days old and you can tell looks like vommit) . The staff is the worst, they scream at you and are very rude, they expect you to know the menu specials of the day, scream at you if you ask for them again, act as if you are supposed to know them .Specially stay away from the heavy middle age women, very rude to customers at all times. You could tell why the place is always empty , is not just the food that is not the best, but is there horrible customer service that will keep you away and from ever stepping foot in this establishment.
I would rate this restaurant a 9 out of 10. I'm not sure why so many people are giving it negative reviews. I came across numerous bad comments and photos, but after recently trying out places I wouldn't normally consider, this spot completely surprised me. I had the lomo saltado, and it was excellent for just $17. They also offer a wide variety of Peruvian dishes, and what will definitely bring me back is that they serve cuy—yes, cuy!
I had the Aguadito for lunch, and it was quite delicious! It could have used a bit more salt for my preference, but the flavor was fantastic overall, and I truly enjoyed it. I also tried the rotisserie chicken, which was tasty; however, the breast was a bit dry. Despite that, I really had a great experience. The waitress was amazing—very helpful and always checking in to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. I will definitely return!

This restaurant was decent but not outstanding. I didn't make a reservation; I simply walked in and placed my order. The wait time was a bit long, but I ordered the half chicken with rice and beans. The portion size was impressive for the price, which is a plus if you're really hungry. The chicken was flavorful, and the rice was good too, although the beans were a bit bland. Overall, the portion sizes definitely made up for it.
Love this place, love the food. This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the meals I had at la flor de la canela.I recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again.
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food was fantastic and reminded me of the flavors of Peru, where I lived for several years. The waitress was extremely attentive and friendly.
I would highly recommend this Peruvian Restaurant. I especially love their chicken with the green sauce! Check it out!

Ordered food to go and it was very good. The food portions are large as well. The only bad part is they are cash only.
