This place has amazing food and atmosphere. If you’re lucky you can get a table next to the koi pond and enjoy the beautiful plants, fish, and turtles while you eat your wonderful food. They have a little different take on things and it just elevates the experience. The staff is amazing as well. If you’re looking for just a typical burrito with meat cheese and beans then this is not where you go. If you want a burrito with real flavor then this is where you go. The prices are very fair for what you get. If you’re looking for an elevated experience with Mexican food I highly recommend this place. Someone there must be a botanist because the plants are amazing!
this is one of the best restaurants in kenosha let alone large Mexican cuisine. I have visited la fogata for several years and has never been disappointed. the personal is well trained as they care about every table. it is a place to see and see. there is an outdoor shielded area, so they can be outside without the bugs? no reservations if they have a big party, it is a stand and wait situation. Please press them for me.
If you ever been to amigo chino in Chicago and love it there, you'll love this place too.5 years later and this place is still amazing!!! Its small but nice. Plenty of parking and wheelchair accessible. Separate fe/male washrooms. They have a cute pond/fountain outside with koi fishes and turtles. Food and drinks....plenty of options. I highly recommend this place and to go on an empty, hungry stomach.
our favorite new mexican restaurant spot! so clean and adorable inside. table side service is excellent. portions are amazing. they cook the food right in front of you so you know it’s super fresh. 12/10 experience and we will be coming here weekly

I absolutely love La Fogata! I eat here frequently. The staff is friendly, and the food is delicious. A client of mine from St. Charles recommended it, and now my parents also come here regularly from Elk Grove.
so not worth $14.00 as if it was just thrown together. was demanding tacos went to this place of the reviews and was so annoyed taste, quality terrible.
My fiancée and I were absolutely delighted with the food, and the service was both prompt and friendly. It was excellent. We will definitely return!
