We recently had dinner at La Fontana Coast and were blown away by our experience, most notably the food. My wife enjoyed a delicious seafood pasta, which was well seasoned and delicious. I ordered the spaghetti carbonara, which was outstanding I find that carbonara can be hit or miss at many restaurants, and here it was arguably the best I've ever had. Beyond the food, the staff was attentive and considerate. We sat outside on a clear but somewhat chilly summer night. The restaurant keeps embroidered blankets on hand for patrons to use if they get chilly, which was an additional nice touch. We have a group that goes together for dinner and have for years. The food is always good with a nice selection of entrees. When its really busy a little patience might be needed but not always. If its a nice night sit outside. Parking: Parking is especially difficult on the weekends. Take the shuttle bus that runs on Landis Ave and will drop you off at the corner. The food was very good for my family. Eating outside was nice because we had a beautiful night, and the inside was quite loud. The servers didn't offer any drinks other than the water they put on the table. The prices were quite high, but this is the Jersey shore where everything thing is overpriced. The deserts were very good, and so was the calamari.
