We are regular visitors to Puerto de La Cruz and familiar with many of the bars and restaurants in the area. Bar Fragata is one of the few that serves drinks only and is well located overlooking the small harbour. It is always busy and frequented by both locals and tourists alike, it’s a good mix of people and consequently a nice atmosphere. The staff are hardworking, diligent and attentive. We would recommend if you want a beverage and take the opportunity to relax, people watch and enjoy the lovely surroundings of Tenerife.
This is the only bar we have found in Puerto de la Cruz serving only drinks. There's lots of outdoor seating in both sun and shade with lovely views of the harbour. There is also good inside seating which is good when the sun goes down. It's a busy place, popular with locals and tourists. The staff are hard working and very well organised. We are so glad we have found this bar and it us going to be our local during our 6 week break. Prices are also very good. What's not to like!
We have stopped here as a family and just a couple, just for drinks . Their English is great, and they complemented my poor Spanish. Fast service, even pointed us to better seating when it was available to take us out of the wind. This is a great place to watch the world go by and decide on the next adventure.
