We have stopped here for drinks in the past but as a lover of fish i really wanted to go in and eat. My wife who has a fish allergy finally relented and we stepped in. We were seated, and my wife went through the non fish menu, only to be told that most of it was not on. Not a great start but she found something. We ordered We got our wine, and after it was opened the waiter returned to say that what my wife had ordered was no longer on. After going through another run of options that weren't on, she had to settle for a simple but bland salad put together by the chef. In fairness, the wine was good and the fish was good, but if you are going to have a menu with multiple non fish options, then not having any of them on really isn't acceptable. A real let down from somewhere we had high hopes for.

From moment we walked outside this place i knew that this was the place for us and my instinct was right! Later in the evening we visited La Bodega for food and we left more than excited!! The place has a great vibe! The food was AMAZING!! One of the huge pluses was the staff! From the moment we entered the place, we felt like guests and not like tourists that they want only their money. They even suggested us not order more than enough and whatever we wanted, we could order again later! When we asked them, they gave us their suggestions that of course were TOP dishes! Overpriced drinks served by miserable staff who can’t even be bothered to offer a few olives as a complimentary tapa. If you are a Brit they will try to milk you for every penny. This used to be a top fish restaurant but has become more of a rip off place to avoid. Tired looking fish in the ‘fresh’ fish chillers, smaller and more expensive portions than ever before. Far better options for fresh seafood close by.

Was so looking forward to this after seeing it on the hairy bikers I couldn't be more disappointed The service was terrible the food was terrible and we were charged €18 for a plate of chopped up ham probably the worst tapas bar we have ever been in

Wonderful seafood tapas and paella well worth the trip along to torremilinos! The staff were very welcoming and helpful.
