In a complex way, this will be a memorable experience for a long time, and one that we'll share with friends too. We were concerned that the restaurant showed no signs of life 15 minute before the opening time for dinner service. We knocked and woke up the chef/owner. Sadly, we made a point of coming back to this restaurant after passing by on a visit to Amelie les Bains (which had several restaurants. We thought we would support this small town spot. We sat down on the inside which housed the majority of tables and were the only ones there. There were people seated on the terrace. One of us speaks Spanish and the other speaks French, both of which the Owner claimed he understood. Je ne l'ai jamais fait passer mes ordres avant d'observer le petit serveur rond aller berserk sur le fait qu'une famille étrangère avec 2 enfants a poliment demandé au serveur si leurs enfants pouvaient partager une assiette. Incroyable à voir, le serveur leur a d'abord refusé le menu enfants, puis a essayé de serrer le choix de la pizza à ceux plus chers. La dernière chose que j'ai vue, c'est le petit homme qui a fait le menu dans la table en recevant la question ci-dessus. Étant donné que le menu était si gras que les pages étaient collées serrées, je suis content que je sois parti. 2 min en haut de la rue est une meilleure alternative où les clients sont évalués, les prix sont inférieurs...
Je vis à proximité à Ceret, et nous venons ici une ou deux fois par semaine, lorsque nous sommes en ville. Un bon menu honnête, plus complet que d'autres dans notre région, qui convient aussi bien aux végétariens qu'aux carnivores. Il offre vraiment un menu étendu. Le Pan et Tomate et Aioli est un vrai tueur en entrée/amuse-gueule, et tout est d'une bonne qualité pour le prix. Le cabillaud avec gratin de pommes de terre est très bon, ma femme aime les omelettes et celle aux champignons en est remplie. Un restaurant auquel on peut aller, qui est constant, amical et offre un excellent rapport qualité-prix.
