Poutine #7 out of 9. My appetite had disappeared two servings ago, and at this point, I was only looking forward to going to sleep. I had one last hope: the curds from a creamery must be the freshest around. This should mean that the poutine is good, as curds are a crucial component. And it was good, indeed. The curds were squeaky and sizable, providing a satisfying chew. The fries were decent, although not crispy (which is my preference, although I know others prefer them soggy). However, the sauce was lacking. I tried the peppercorn sauce, which was too watery for the poutine. My Québecois friend explained that it is a thinner sauce, but if it is going to be offered with poutine, it needs...

This is where Poutine started, at this very spot, although it was not Fromagerie Victoria at the time. It was a privately owned business and cheese manufacturer. It has since grown and is now a main attraction. Poutine here is the best in the world....of course! Very generous amounts of cheese curds and gravy over fries, from Baby size to Large, which is huge! There are 2 sauces to choose from as well. This is a must go-to place if you are in this area. Plus there is ice cream also available for your dessert! The service is excellent.

Best poutine in the area. The cheese is bar none the best squeeky cheese I've tasted in Quebec. The fries are good, as is the gravy. Would come again. Prices are higher than usual for poutine, but worth it.

Service is fast and courteous, but prices are too high. The poutine is served with much too big pieces of curd cheese, and the fries quickly become soaked by the gravy.
