La Gabare - Réserver une table

We have eaten here a few times over the years and we go for the convenience of the location which gives us the opportunity to spend time with friends. My husband and I shared a pizza and a salad. The food was okay. The service was as always, we sensed a bit of indifference. After years of eating here, neither we nor the folks we ate with who still live nearby, knew that there was a terrace in the middle of the restaurant. When we inquired, we were told it had been there forever. It is a nice addition.

We visited this little restaurant with no expectations but we were very impressed . The pizzas were excellent with authentic toppings and really well baked . The desserts were French ( the best of both worlds), home made and really delicious . The service was also good .On the basis of our meal I would really recommend this restaurant .

Not much interesting at all. This is a french pizzeria (?) that serves a menu of average quality dishes. Nothing is really impressive here. Not recommended, yet it may be the only place to go in winter time, as the area is rather poor of choices. In that case, I would go for their pizza and stay away from the rest.

This place seemed to be the only place open near my hotel. I went in and asked for a table and was told half and hour. I went back to hotel for a beer and went back half an hour later to be told they were no longer serving. As there did not seem to be anywhere else to eat - I went hungry!

This was our go to lunch spot when I lived here years ago. They have since changed ownership. We had no trouble getting a table. The lunch menu was varied. I had the chevrette salad and it was good. The service was quick and friendly.
