La Goelette - Réserver une table

We had the mid range set menu for dinner. Our Coquille starters were excellent. Large scallops and a lovely creamy sauce. Our main course was not as described on the menu. We both chose roast pork with a mushroom sauce. The reality was thin slices of bought ham with a curried mushroom sauce! Very strange. The frites were delicious. The other disappointing part was there were two choices of red wine. We chose Cote de Rhone! They didn’t have any, so we had no option but to have the Bordeaux wine! It was alright though. The waitress was lovely and very efficient.

Moules overpowered my cheap dried herbs and too much pepper. Frites were hard and dry, no salt on table. “Roast pork” was two slices from a packet, and the “roast chicken” was large lump of inedible chicken warmed up. Bill was incorrect and whole experience very disappointing. Never again, it was dreadful!

excellent restaurant, de la réception à la fin du repas. le personnel est d'une gentillesse et d'une facilité de service. les menus vous permettent de bien manger, les plats sont délicieux. nous avons réservé une table qq heures avant (nous étions sur place).

bon restaurant où vous êtes servi des plats de qualité dans une bonne ambiance. un service amical parfois un peu trop rapide mais expliqué par un second service à venir. Le chef, bien qu'un peu stressé, est gentil et les serveuses.

Slow but friendly service, very good oisters. The menu is not bad at all, very good ratio price/quality. If you want a cheap evening, don't miss it.
