La Golmotte - Réservation de table

We returned to La Golmotte this year (June 2013) after discovering the restaurant last summer. This time we stayed in the auberge for 3 nights and ate in the restaurant each evening because we knew we would enjoy it. We were not disappointed. The food...is excellent not an extensive menu because the emphasis is on preparing fresh local produce to a high standard. I can strongly recommend La Truffade. The accommodation is simple but comfortable and well placed for exploring the Auvergne. The half board tariff is fantastic value and the proprietors work hard to ensure you are well provided for. We will definitely return and recommend this place to our friends.

I have been in Le Mont Dore an February 13th 2013. First of all I did not find you in the city also not after asking 12 different people. The search function of trip advisor has guided me to Rue du Cap Chazotte, in front...of the church. I was very disappointed that I did not find you so I went to A Casa Nostra where I have got without doubt one of the best Pizza 's in my life!

This restaurant is worth the trip out from the Mont Dore. A family run place with fresh, quality local ingredients, made into simple but delicious dishes. We have returned 3 times over the years whenever we pass through the region on our holidays and will...do again! Reservation is essential!!

A bit outside the center this auberge is certainly worthwhile the short drive. The dishes are traditional but very well prepared, service is good, easy parking and very good local wine at very reasonable prices. So no doubt this restaurant is worth its first place

nous avons tout aimé : l'ambiance, la décoration intérieure, le service, la qualité de la nourriture et la créativité du chef. mon écorce avec de l'herbe de foie fraîche était fantastique. excellente expérience dans l'ensemble!

Good food, and nice and efficient service. Everything is home made and fresh. Not much to add, a choice without risk of being mistaken
