This restaurant shares the name and evidently also the owners of another one in the eastern part of Madrid, which already has an entry in TripAdvisor. This one in Pozuelo, a northwest suburb of the Spanish capital, didn't have its own entry until now. We’ve eaten both at the bar and in the spacious enclosed area of the main restaurant, which extends with outdoor seating out into the park called Plaza de España in the heart of this mostly residential and mostly affluent Madrid suburb. Of course the specialty is already given in the name: octopus supposedly flown in fresh from Galicia. While we can’t guarantee this claim, the octopus as well as a special kind of scallop (zamburinas) and clams (almejas) were delicious, whether steamed or grilled. We’ve eaten tapas at the bar and full meals in the main part of the restaurant, although the servers weren’t as friendly as they could’ve been, especially considering the prices, which the quality of the food would fully justify but the quality of the service wouldn't always. Still because of the food and the nice location, when we’re in the part of Madrid, we always plan a stop here for a real seafood treat.
