waitress added item to bill which we neither ordered nor received, to boost price. it was not an accident because when she saw me coming inside to talk to her she ducked her head and just took the bill, with no discussion. oddly, i have...only been to ceret twice and both times the bill was artificially jacked up. other time was at bleu citron down the street. i guess they think tourists don’t check and it is an easy way to increase income.
J'ai vraiment aimé ce bar. Dans la grande tradition française, la plupart des gens étaient assis dehors sur le pflastertic, mais je dois dire que c'était un réel plaisir de m'asseoir sur une chaise au magnifique bar en marbre courbé, où j'ai pris un ou trois verres. Cet endroit avait un service amical et une atmosphère merveilleusement détendue. Un top bar.
Good place to sit outside in the summer and watch the general hustle and bustle of the main street. I actually prefer it off season when most of the tourists have departed, if you like local French bars then this will do you fine but...aside from that not particularly exciting.
there is almost nothing of the charm of this bar story should exist. Instead there is a wet machine, grumpy (and possibly dishonest) personal and bottle of coke for €3,10 the second star is that people are watching out. but I wanted to leave céret in a hurry. Réservez une table maintenant
Je suis passé prendre une bière et un café (avec une superbe surprise pour les enfants) en terrasse en début de soirée et c'était un endroit plutôt plaisant. Le service était assez décent, les prix étaient raisonnables. Je suis content d'y retourner.
Ce café/bar traditionnel a été fréquenté par de nombreux artistes qui sont restés à Céret au fil des années, et il conserve toujours une atmosphère cosmopolite à l'époque moderne.
Omg omg omgi just found coffee heaven, being from Italy its hard to find good coffeei like good old american coffee with a fresh french twist on it.
