Looking for somewhere to have a good lunch on my last day in Les 2 Alpes, I looked at soooo many menus that I was beginning to wonder whether I'd find a menu that was not heavily reliant on cheese based dishes. I'd already had those in spades!The menu here was/is very different - but with all the local favourites. They even had fish! Lunch starts at noon, which suited my airport transport perfectly. I had the absolutely wonderful, and large, salad de chevre chaud, followed by confit de cannard, again excellent, washed down by a bottle of slightly too warm Gamay, but enjoyably none the less. Eat here in the delightful restaurant and enjoy.
Nous avons dîné à La Grange ce soir lors de la soirée de congé de nos hôtes dans le chalet et nous le recommandons vivement. Nous voulions manger de la cuisine alpine française traditionnelle, nous avions donc des entrées (salade de chèvre, carpaccio de bœuf et très bonne soupe, puis une fondue pour quatre. Mais... il y avait beaucoup de choix, par exemple des hamburgers. Toutes nos entrées et le plat principal étaient délicieux et attention, les portions sont très généreuses ! Le personnel était adorable et le prix était très raisonnable. Nous reviendrions certainement ici.
We had luncheon at "la Grange" several times when skiing a good week. Conveniant to take the cabin down for the meal with good service and many choises and not to forget they have childrens menu! Plat the jour is at 10 EUR and the 2 dishes menu at 16. Service is very good and you can choise to sit inside or at the terrasse. La Grange is only 100 meters from the cabin taking you up to 3600 meters altitude in two steps.Apart form plat de jour we also had tartar de beuf (excellent) and really good pizzas.
This place is a bit better than a lot in "les 2 Alps". Fondue and Raclette is somewhat of an experience but not unique, cos' you can find that in almost every restaurant in the 2 Alpes. Can get a bit crowded and noisy, but thats how it's supposed to be, i guess. Pizza is also good here and you can also have a try for the house/local wine. Thou they seem to have enough staff, it can turn into a hide

I really liked the place and the ambiance. The food was really good, we had raclette which is in the picture and the lasagna bolognese and other dishes as well, all were great. There was a little misunderstanding with a dish that did not arrive but the staff was polite and helpful and did not make us pay for it. We had a nice evening and a good experience, would go there again!
We walked past many restaurants but they all had the same menu until we found La Grange. I had the calzone which was fantastic and the girlfriend had moules mariniere which was delicious and plentiful. I'd definitely recommend this place if you want something different to the usual raclette/fondue that most restaurants seem to serve. Would go again
Fidèle visiteur régulier de La Grange, nous sommes fans de l'attitude, du service et de la nourriture. Excellent la semaine dernière! Chacun de nous a pris le carpaccio de bœuf! C'est toujours excellent. Ensuite, c'était un mélange de fondue au fromage bourinon et son délicieux risotto aux St Jacques...
J'ai mangé ici avec de nombreux amis en visite dans mon chalet. Une ambiance géniale, un service amical et amusant, une excellente cuisine. Les huîtres, la pierrade, la pizza étaient vraiment délicieuses. Un très bon rapport qualité-prix. Le St Joseph est également rapidement devenu un favori pour moi.

Appréciez ici pendant les vacances de Noël. Service très amical et attentif de Laura. Bonne nourriture et bon vin. Huîtres, Carpaccio de bœuf, Pierrade au fromage de chèvre, salade. Nous sommes fans.
