I have never experienced a place like this. Before eating and waiting for everyone to arrive, we were able to explore the property. You will find hundreds of upcycled and recycled sculptures. From 3-inch grasshoppers to a 20-foot pegasus, this place displays almost every animal...you can imagine. If you are tempted to buy, they, unfortunately don’t have a gift shop. HOWEVER, If you’re a local, you can request a sculpture and they will make one for you, but you would have to come back to pick it up when it’s ready. If you’re a foreigner, like me, ask your waiter if they have any sculptures for sale. Our waiter brought out a few that we could choose from. Take your time to explore the property...
Beautiful day trip and fantastic food, especially if you like red meat. After a week in Bogotá this is an oasis of tranquility. The children loved the animals you can feed. Ducks, chickens, ostrich, pigs, etc. There is also a beautiful vegetable garden. One thing I liked is that everything is marked correctly, which is so simple, yet so often places do not do so. It meant it was also educational and the children learned the Spanish words for many animals and plants. Food was hearty, large and sensitively expensive. While we had a cold beer after the kids had played minigolf (a shame they had no real clubs and balls. Instead, they have wooden sticks and ping ping balls that really do not work...
A fantastic atmosphere for the family, besides being able to do activities like playing in the park and seeing animals apart from eating, although the food is rich some portions are small for the price, however it is a place to go back to. Service is pleasant, local is pretty and fun. The food was a great portion and delicious. Surely we will return. For children there is a very nice garden with several animals where they will have fun. The only Inkovenience could be there... the streets are narrow and need your full attention.
